Who is Go Get Netted?

Go Get Netted (GGN) is a provider with a difference. Sure all providers offer Internet access but Go Get Netted strives to make the Internet easier for you to use.

Our service covers the Sydney (02) area as well as Windsor (0245), Mulgoa and Penrith (0247) at local call rates. You can access our service outside these areas at normal long-distance rates.

What does GGN offer?

What sets GGN apart?

Service. We are happy to go that extra distance for you, our subscriber. We offer the following standard services that many other providers find "too hard" or uninteresting.

• Longer and more readable e-mail names
• Your choice of domains … either "user@gogetnetted.com.au" or "user@ggn.com.au"
• Vacation mail responder … if you’re away and want to generate an automatic reply
• A monthly hard-copy statement mailed to you showing your total month’s usage

And depending on the service you choose these optional benefits

Anything else?

• We specialise in delivering e-mail to small business networks. Each user can send and receive internal and Internet Mail with ease and simplicity.
• We can host full domains, Web sites, mail etc.

What about "unlimited" accounts?

We don’t do 'em. GGN offers a high availability service so you connect when you want, not when someone else decides to get off. So called "unlimited" accounts are often used by students and give no incentive to restrict on-line time. For parents this is of particular concern.

To combat the desire to remain permanently connected "unlimited" providers limit a single session to say 2hrs. This means, even if you are in the middle of an important download, the connection is terminated by the ISP. So a 2.5 hour download is impossible. How can anything be that big? Just download anything from Microsoft, especially the new Outlook 98, at nearly 80MB it’s beyond the time allowed by other providers.

The typical business user doesn’t mind not having an unlimited account because "connection on demand" and not being kicked off are more important.

So the reality is Go Get Netted offers a better service with fewer limitations than "unlimited" providers.
